Sly Digital is an independent multimedia production company run by Mike Sly. We provide solutions for all your video needs. Sly Digital is dedicated in achieving the most professional look and feel for your project. We do so by using professional grade equipment and crew on every project. Our crew is highly expandable for the largest projects or can be as small as one camera and operator.

Mike Sly has been involved in video since 1998 when he shot is first stop animation film on Sony Video8. That same year he entered one of his shorts in a local church film fest and won "Best in Special Effects". During high school he got involved in computers and learned how to write HTML and create web sites. After he graduated he enrolled at the College of San Mateo (CSM) and continued in web development but soon switched he focus to video. He had found his calling. He also got involved with a training group called the Pixel Corps. But before completing a degree at CSM the school eliminated its broadcast program due to budget cutes. So from there he set out into the real world doing freelance video jobs where he could get them. And also started work with the Pixel Corp on one of the first tech based online TV shows, Inside the Black Box. He soon realized there were holes in his knowledge base and workflow. So in the Spring of 2005 he left the Pixel Crop and enrolled in the San Francisco State Digital Video Intensive (DVI). This was an intensive program, 6 days a week for 17 weeks taught entirely by industry professionals. After completing the program that same year Mike set out again as a freelancer. This time with the knowledge and contacts needed to start to get some real work. Mike has since worked on a very wide variety of projects including broadcast, corporate, commercial, music video and film. He is comfortable working single camera ENG (Electronic News Gathering) or EFP (Electron Field Production) or working in a multi camera live environment. He also works on the other end of things in Post Production. As well as teaches at San Francisco State in the College of Extended Learning Program. He teaches in a class in the DVI covering HD and working with 24p and teaches a 5 week course on Adobe Photoshop for DV.
